ArcheAge Release Date Announcement!

Yesterday I spent a good portion of my day duking it out in ArcheAge.  I was in the mid 30's level range and just began to experience the PvP aspect of the game.  I'm loving it!  This is very much reminding of my great PvP experiences in older games like EQ and EQ2.  I would really love to have a game like that again and this is shaping up to fill the void.

Last night ArcheAge made a release date announcement at PAX in Seattle.  So the Alpha servers will be coming down tonight at midnight.  Open beta begins on Sept. 4th through Sept. 8th and head start getting underway on Sept. 12th with an official launch day of Sept. 16th.

Good news for me, I'm out of class until Sept. 22nd so I'll have plenty of time to dedicate to the head start and official launch for this game and I'll be streaming it all live!
